I have a really off the wall thought for you today.
Having gone back over some clients files recently for some research and ideas I have come up with a rather interesting fact, it appeared that most peoples problems and worries came when they were not 'just being themselves'.
Let me explain, we all at some time or other aspire to be famous, or talented, or clever, or funny, you get the idea. Well what do we immediately do in most cases? we look at someone who is already what we want to be and attempt to copy them.
There are also times when we are doing things in our life that are what someone else wants us to do, for example studying a certain subject or profession at uni, or doing things to make other people happy, that are not a natural fit with our desires.
If you notice all these situations are NOT US BEING US, they are us being or doing something that is not a natural fit. Therefore we cannot ever be totally relaxed because we are not doing what comes naturally.
If you wanted to be a famous actor, would there be any benefit in copying someone who is already successful, of course not, because how ever good you became at copying them , the best you could ever hope to be is second best or a copy of someone else.
You must also consider the extra pressure on you because of the fact that you cannot relax, because you are not being you.
So my observation is this, What ever you want to be or do, make sure that you do it BEING YOU.
If you are always being you and doing things that you want to do, you cannot fail, because you are the original.
Instead of spending too much time looking at people and wanting to be like them, just spend a little time making you the person YOU want to be and everything else will fall into place.
This does not of course say don't admire people, but I am saying do not copy people. Who knows if you just start being you, the real you maybe a much better person than the person you admire.
If we do just concentrate on being us, it also lets our natural programme of success shine through.
So today's little task is to look in the mirror and start to really like the person you see and let him/her start living a relaxed natural life to success
